Kabanwaan Beach Resort is a simple yet refreshing getaway located in Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City. Neighboring of Sheraton Hotel. After its recent renovation, the place looks much better and more comfortable than before — the area is now well-arranged, cleaner, and has a lot more cottages to choose from.

The resort is open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, making it a nice spot for day trips and family outings. The entrance fee is very affordable at only ₱20 per person, which makes it accessible for everyone.

They offer a variety of cottages depending on your group size and budget:

Small cottage: perfect for couples or small families/ rates- 1000php
Medium cottage: good for groups of 6–10 people/ rates- 1500
Large cottage: ideal for bigger gatherings or celebrations/ inquire the property
Tent: 500php
Table with chairs: 300php

Another great feature is their  venue area that can accommodate up to 20 people, perfect for small events, birthdays, or meetings by the beach. The atmosphere is peaceful, the water is clear, and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Overall, Kabanwaan Beach Resort is a simple yet presentable destination where you can relax, bond with family and friends, or hold small gatherings without spending too much. The renovations have truly improved the comfort and overall experience — definitely worth a visit!
I highly suggest to book your cottage in advance during the weekend visit due to a lot of visitors chill to this place. Weekdays is advisable too less people you can enjoy more dipping into salt water. Swimming is better here compare to other beaches in Lapu-lapu City.

We had a quick but unforgettable visit to Casaroro Falls in Valencia City, Negros Oriental. The trek was around 800 meters long, and due to the rain the previous day, the trail was quite slippery and the current was strong—definitely added to the thrill!
